We are looking on behalf of one of our clients for a Financial Controller to lead their accounts function in a small but busy office.
Duties include:
- Oversight of all accounting records and financial processes
- Review and preparation of management accounts and financial reports
- Oversight of cash management, treasury, and investment reporting
- Managing audits, tax compliance, and statutory reporting
- Reviewing reconciliations, journals, and reporting outputs
- Supervising and supporting the accounts team
- Maintaining and improving internal controls and processes
- Liaising with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or similar)
- Strong experience in a hands-on Financial Controller role
- Experience managing full accounting cycles and audits
- Strong Excel skills; experience with Microsoft Business Central advantageous
- Attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills
- Ability to manage a small team and meet deadlines in a busy environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders
