Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Client and Fund Accounting.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and support a portfolio of clients with annual and management accounts preparation.
- Ensure compliance with UK/Gibraltar GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Oversee corporate tax computations
- Perform and review NAV calculations, reconciliations, and investment portfolio valuations.
- Prepare and review financial statements and investor reports in line with regulatory and accounting standards.
- Sign off independent accountant reports.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure timely and efficient completion of fund audits.
- Collaborate with MLRO and compliance teams on CRS tax compliance and financial crime reporting.
- Lead the preparation and review of financial statements under IFRS/Gibraltar GAAP.
- Develop and refine accounting procedures, operational controls, and checklists.
- Provide technical problem-solving support across accounting functions.
- Support companies and funds investing or trading in crypto assets.
- Apply accounting knowledge to digital asset transactions and valuations.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the accounting team.
- Mentor and support team members in client interactions and technical development.
- Lead recruitment, training, and performance management initiatives.
- Oversee department workload, billing, and profitability metrics.
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of Gibraltar’s financial regulations and fiduciary services.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
