We are looking on behalf of our client, a well established financial services provider in Gibraltar, for a Managing Director to lead the company with the administration and servicing of international pensions, annuities, and life assurance solutions.
Duties:
- Lead the administration and servicing of international pensions, annuities, and life assurance solutions for the Company.
- Hold full accountability to the Executive and Subsidiary Boards for delivering subsidiary PBT and revenue targets.
- Contribute to the strategic development of the division as a board director, with a focus on service standards.
- Assist and contribute, as part of the Board, to the budget as well as to continuously monitor the financial performance of the division.
- Act as a signatory of the firm.
- Staff training and development.
- As a member of the Executive Board, ensure company accounts present a true and fair view of financial performance, with appropriate controls in place and regularly monitored.
- Maintain an open and cooperative relationship with regulators, ensuring transparency and full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the long-term growth and sustainability of the business.
Required:
- Proven track record of leadership roles within financial services industry, particularly pensions.
- Strong understanding of regulatory regime.
- Up to date and informed about Data Protection Act requirements, Anti-Money Laundering requirements and Financial Crime requirements.
- Strong insight into the framework in which the life and pensions company operates.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
