We are looking on behalf of our client for a Java Developer
Duties:
- Leverage and build upon existing successful slots game platform to develop high-quality real-time Java applications delivering rich graphical and animated user experiences
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, QA, artists, and animators to integrate advanced visual content into responsive, performance-optimized applications
- Work within cross-functional agile teams to innovate and implement new user engagement features
- Help to drive engineering standards and efficiency of sprints by maintaining clean code practices, modular architecture, and efficient well-documented build processes
- Engage meaningfully in key Scrum events, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint demonstrations, reviews, and retrospectives
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience with Java development and/or C#
- Experience with LWJGL (Lightweight Java Game Library) and jMonkeyEngine (JME) will make you a leading candidate
- Experience with commercial-grade development documentation and communications (proficiency with Confluence and JIRA is highly beneficial)
- Experience with integrating rich graphic and animation content, build-automation, DevOps, and/or cybersecurity is highly beneficial
