We are looking on behalf of our client, a well established financial services company in Gibraltar, for a Senior Pension Administrator with QROPS knowledge.
Duties will include and are not limited to:
Authorisations and Controls
- Perform the duties of a Level B signatory, including first checks, documentation preparation, and co-signing with a Level A authoriser.
- Act as a Level B EQ authoriser by carrying out initial checks on payment requests and releasing payments alongside a Level A authoriser.
- Follow established checklists to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to procedures.
Pension Administration
- Handle administrative tasks relating to pension benefits, including more complex cases.
- Respond to member queries and manage more detailed administrative requests.
- Act as the first point of contact for complaints, preparing responses for approval by management.
- Assist with income payment processing and support HMRC and GITO reporting.
- Help process member payment requests, including performing security calls to confirm bank details.
- Process and submit withdrawals to investment houses and prepare submissions to the Gibraltar Income Tax Office.
Systems and Record Management
- Update Viewpoint and other relevant systems as required.
- Manage task lists, file notes, timesheets, and ensure work is completed within deadlines.
- Accurately scan, file, and maintain pension-related documentation.
Communication and Liaison
- Liaise with members, intermediaries, introducers, BDMs, and IFAs via email, phone, and written correspondence.
- Communicate with investment houses and internal departments including Accounts, Dealings, and Compliance.
Team Support and Leadership
- Suggest process improvements and provide constructive feedback.
- Offer advice to help colleagues make informed decisions.
- Address inappropriate behaviour promptly and professionally.
- Promote teamwork and adapt ways of working to support collaboration.
- Take responsibility for personal and team development, identifying training needs and achieving objectives.
- Monitor team workloads and provide cover or support during absences.
