We are looking on behalf of our client for a Risk and Compliance Manager who will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management and execution of all day-to-day compliance and risk activities within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Team Management and Coordination
- Manage and coordinate team activities to ensure smooth execution of compliance functions.
- Fulfil team responsibilities in the case of absence or capacity issues to maintain operational continuity.
- Monitor and action Compliance tasks promptly.
- Oversee onboarding, sign-off, and record-keeping processes.
- Track and resolve compliance and risk incidents.
- Oversight and sampling of team monitoring tasks.
- Ensure the completion and follow up of monitoring activities.
- Prepare and review Monitoring Reports.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations through effective monitoring.
- Input into Country Risk Assessments.
- Conduct PEP reviews and oversee registers.
- Prepare regulatory returns and data.
- Assist with the delivery and preparation of compliance training sessions.
Required:
- Proven experience in risk and compliance management, ideally within a legal or TCSP environment.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including AML compliance.
- Exceptional organisational and team management skills.
- Ability to handle complex queries and processes with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in risk assessment and client review processes.
