We are looking on behalf of our client for a Maintenance Manager.
Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day technical maintenance operations across multiple estates.
- Coordinate and supervise on-site maintenance teams, contractors, and specialist service providers.
- Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and ensure statutory compliance works are completed on time.
- Respond promptly to technical issues, faults, and emergencies, ensuring effective resolution.
- Review contractor quotes, technical reports, and proposals to ensure value for money and quality standards.
- Work closely with the Estate Management team to ensure clear communication and efficient workflows between internal teams and external partners.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, certifications, and logs.
- Identify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and building performance.
- Support estate projects, refurbishments, and new equipment installations as required.
Required:
- Proven experience in a maintenance management or technical facilities role (property, estates, FM or building services background desirable).
- Strong understanding of M&E systems, building fabric, contractors’ practices, and health & safety requirements.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise across a fast-paced workload.
- Confident communicator able to coordinate teams and manage contractor relationships effectively.
- Good working knowledge of maintenance reporting systems and digital tools.
