We are looking on behalf of our client for an Insurance Broker.
Duties:
- Provide a professional service to clients from enquiry stage to placing cover on risk and throughout the policy period.
- Responding to client enquiries by email, face to face or phone.
- Identify the client’s insurance needs and source a suitable solution.
- Negotiate the best possible terms on behalf of the client, making a fair presentation of the risk to the insurer and where applicable, prepare a risk presentation to submit to the insurers.
- Arrange for invoices to be prepared and sent to the client.
- Update the database ensuring all documents are correctly saved, including correspondence with the client and insurer and ensuring client contact details remain accurate and confidential.
- Mentor junior staff members and provide training or help to source appropriate training to aid their development.
Required:
- CII qualified.
- Experience in Insurance, either Personal Lines, Liabilities Insurances or Commercial Property.
- Experienced with working with Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite and insurance databases.
