Our client, a well-established and highly respected insurance company in Gibraltar is seeking a Head of Finance to lead their financial strategy and operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven finance professional who enjoys both the strategic and hands-on aspects of financial leadership within a dynamic, regulated environment.
Duties:
- Responsibility for all financial planning, providing key insights and recommendations to the Board.
- Lead the review of monthly management accounts and bank reconciliations prepared by the finance team.
- Prepare and deliver quarterly and annual regulatory returns.
- Manage the external audit process and build strong relationships with auditors and regulators.
- Oversee cash flow and maintaining liquidity.
- Authorise invoices and bank payments while maintaining strong financial controls.
The Ideal Candidate:
You will be a qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a proven track record in financial leadership, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector. Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to provide strategic insight to the Board are essential.
