We are looking on behalf of a well established insurance company in Gibraltar for a Head of Claims who will oversee and provide support and leadership to the Claims Team and will manage and supervise insurance claims to ensure efficient and accurate processing in a manner that protects the interests of the insured parties whilst also providing satisfactory customer service. This is a part-time role.
Duties:
- Oversight of the outsourced Claims function.
- Assessment of complex (grey area) claims for suitable resolution.
- Oversight of auditing of the claims handling process and implementing changes as required.
- Provide technical guidance to staff on claim investigations, reserving evaluation and resolution of claims.
- Reporting to the Board and externally as required.
- Ensuring that Company insurance policies are suitable for the risk they are marketed to cover.
