We are looking on behalf of our client, a well established Private Bank in Gibraltar, for a Finance Officer.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Handle the processing of supplier invoices, payments, and staff expense claims in an accurate and timely manner.
- Prepare and reconcile client fee schedules to ensure all charges are correct and complete.
- Carry out bank reconciliations and maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end accounting tasks.
- Update and manage the fixed asset register, ensuring proper recording and depreciation.
- Oversee petty cash transactions and ensure proper documentation and control.
- Support external auditors by providing required information and responding to queries.
- Perform a range of general finance administration duties as needed.
We are looking for a candidate with strong initiative, excellent organisational skills, and at least an intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel. An accounting qualification such as AAT is required for this role.
