Our client, a well established bank in Gibraltar, is looking for a Junior Compliance Analyst who helps ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, manages onboarding compliance risk, and supports daily operations.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in conducting relevant due diligence on new clients, requesting the Know Your Customer (KYC) information and documentation
- Assist in the review and verification of documentation and applications received for the onboarding process, making an analytical first risk assessment for the new clients and ensuring due diligence standards are complied with
- Support Front Office by communicating with RMs in relation to document requests
- Evaluate all applications according to established policies and procedures
- Assist in maintaining all account data current and up to date in the Bank’s internal system
- Assist in conducting reviews of all documentation in relation to changes to existing accounts (corporate structures, authorized signatory lists, change of directors etc.), updating all internal systems accordingly
Required:
- Experience in a financial services role
- A solid understanding of due diligence processes and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to think critically and solve problems proactively
- Confidence in managing conflict and handling challenging situations with professionalism
