Our client is seeking two Compliance Officer’s to join their Compliance and Legal Team. This role is crucial in supporting the team’s efforts to manage compliance risks, assist with the implementation of regulatory requirements, and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
As a Compliance Officer, you will:
- Perform compliance checks including conduct testing of customer onboarding, periodic reviews etc. and essentially enhance our second line of defense.
- Aid in the implementation of key regulatory requirements in relation to strategic organizational changes.
- Perform horizon scanning to anticipate and prepare the Bank for implementing regulatory developments.
- Share knowledge and provide training to colleagues in the Bank.
- Exhibit good judgment and empathetic handling of complaints.
- Apply Consumer Duty principles effectively.
- Understand GDPR and help the Bank meet its ongoing requirements.
- Support the business with its ongoing compliance needs.
Skills Required:
- Strong communication skills.
- A solid understanding of legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Organised and able to work with colleagues across the bank.
- A few years of relevant experience in private practice or financial services, such as a bank or MiFID firm.
