    Investment Administrator – (Dealings) – This role involves all aspects of pension dealing administration

    Responsibilities will include assisting with the administrative process of placing daily dealing instructions and investment related administration of pension structures via the Investment Administration System (IAS) for the company’s QROPS schemes in various jurisdictions, reporting to the Dealing Team Manager and ultimately the Investment Director.

    Duties will include but may not be limited to:

    • Risk assessing members in order to process dealing instructions in conjunction with IAS software
    • Ensuring investments are within the scheme’s investment restriction guidelines
    • Liaising with Consultants where a dealing instruction has failed
    • Liaising with pension administration teams, accounts and compliance departments with regard to monetary movements of funds within the pension schemes to include any monies being transferred both in and out of the plan account
    • Liaising with investment houses/life companies
    • Liaising with IFA’s; in relation to missing data and or correspondence
    • Processing dealing instructions in accordance with appropriate checklists and procedures
    • Escalation of member /IFA queries to Dealings Manager and consulting team as appropriate
    • Liaising with BDM’s and other offices regarding receipt of dealing instructions and any associated questions or queries that may arise.
    • Dealing with administrative tasks relating to pension investments and liaising with pension administration teams regarding the same
    • Continually updating Viewpoint, with all dealing instructions and related correspondence
    • Carefully documenting and recording communications and transactions

    As a minimum, the individual should possess the following skills and abilities:

    • Accurate with excellent attention to detail
    • Excellent organisational skills
    • Well-developed analytical skills
    • Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
    • Experience or proven knowledge pensions, QROPS or a working within a financial services organisation
