Job: Credit Officer

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out duties within the Credit Department in relation to Credit & Mortgage products:

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Process new credit product applications
• Update and renewal of existing credit facilities
• Manage and respond to incoming credit enquiries
• Four eyes for all credit and mortgage activities
• Liaise with external business associates
• Conduct accurate processing and fair assessment of mortgage applications
• Manage and respond to incoming mortgage enquiries
• Ongoing monitoring of mortgage performances through MI reports
• Manage registration and safe custody of mortgage deeds, including annual audit of deeds held
• Conduct annual reviews of the Bank’s solicitor and valuer panels
• Other tasks relating to the administration and development of the Credit Department

The ideal candidate will be capable of working on their own initiative, hold or be on the way to achieving CeMAP and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Banking, preferably in a credit related role.
