    Compliance Officer (Gaming)

    The successful candidate will report into the Head of Compliance and will assist with the day-to-day running of compliance activities. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong decision making and an ability to manage a demanding workload effectively and in a timely manner.

    Responsibilities:

    • Participation in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
    • Monitoring key regulatory changes relevant to the gaming sector and communicating any such updates to internal stakeholders
    • Point of contact to deal with requests and enquiries from regulatory and law enforcement authorities
    • Assessment of internal controls and procedures
    • Provide guidance and support to the business on compliance related matters
    • Assist in the preparation and delivery of training to employees and third party contractors
    • Provide support to the DPO to ensure risks and controls associated with data privacy issues are identified, managed and mitigated
    • Support data protection processes for breach management and data subject access requests
    • Assist in the completion of Data Privacy Impact Assessments for projects with a significant personal data element

    Candidate requirements:

    • Membership and compliance related training completed with a reputable body, such as the International Compliance Association, or Gibraltar Association of Compliance Officers
    • Have an understanding of AML, fraud, risk management and safer gaming
    • Knowledge of or willingness to learn and keep abreast of gaming regulation and requirements
    • High level of computer proficiency, particularly with Word and Excel
    • Clear and concise style of communication
    • Strong research and analytical skills
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
    • Fluent English with additional languages (preferably German) desirable
    • Team player and self-starter who is able to work on their own initiative, with a positive attitude
