    This role is based in Homes Counties in the UK

    Our client is an AIM listed financial services provider operating in a number of jurisdictions.

    The majority of its subsidiaries are regulated entities in those jurisdictions, as the group carries on regulated activities in the form of administration of client’s assets for the UK expatriate market, foreign nationals who have worked previously in the UK, and UK residents. Typically the administration is in the form of pension administrations (SIPPs and QROPS) or Life assurance wrappers (portfolio bonds), as well as some traditional family trust business. 

    The role:

    Based at the Group’s head office in the Home Counties (UK) you will play an important role in ensuring that the Board functions in an efficient and organised manner. You will form an important interface between the decisions of the Board and their timely and efficient communication to the Group’s wider stakeholders, including the financial markets, institutional investors, staff, and regulators. It is anticipated that you will attend all PLC Board meetings, and accompanying committee meetings.

    Qualifications: ICSA qualified (essential)

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • At least 10 years post qualification experience
    • Experience of corporate governance for PLCs
    • Excellent understanding of the Listing Rules, QCA Code of Corporate Governance, UK Companies Act
    • Good detailed knowledge of Blueprint or other or on another global entity management and corporate governance portal
    • Experienced minute-taker of lengthy, free-flowing meetings
