Our client is a major name in the Financial Services sector in Gibraltar. They are seeking a Qualified Accountant to become involved in all aspects of their firm’s accounting procedures including:
Maintaining accounts for the group including:
- Preparation of quarterly management accounts for a group of companies
- Cash flow reporting
- Maintaining a fixed asset register
- Maintaining prepayment and accrual schedules
- Recording and reconciliation of disbursements
- Recording and reviewing WIP and deferred income
- Overseeing payments
- Overseeing the accounts receivable and payable process (receipts and payments)
- Liaising with external auditors
Experience and skills:
- Experience in financial services would be preferable
- Knowledge of viewpoint client accounting preferable
- Experience in processing payments
- Able to work on your own initiative and within a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Organised and able to work under pressure/tight deadlines
