Pension Accountant required for a financial services provider based in Gibraltar. Part or fully ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified accountant with 3 years’ experience working within a financial services environment, ideally pensions.
Duties include:
- Maintaining trial balances for personal and occupational pension schemes including:
- Posting bank transactions
- Calculating and allocating investment revaluations
- Calculating and allocating fees
- Calculation of final balances for leavers
- Drafting financial statements for occupational pension schemes
- Dealing with auditors on the annual audits of schemes as well as the regulator and tax office
- Month/quarter end transfer calculations for investment of funds
- Processing payments for each scheme
- Invoicing and settling of fees for each scheme
- Income calculations for clients reaching retirement age
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual valuation statements
- Maintaining records of assets under management
- Completing annual reviews
