Our client, a well-established and highly regarded provider of global accountancy and consultancy services, is seeking a Head of Audit and Assurance. The Head of Audit and Assurance will be responsible for planning large audit assignments and for the general oversight of the management of the Audit and Assurance department.
Key Competencies:
- At least 5 years’ statutory experience in an audit environment.
- Hold an appropriate accountancy qualification (ACA or ACCA).
- Technical expertise in auditing and legislation and application in practice.
- A good base knowledge of: Corporation tax, income tax, VAT, PAYE, Company secretarial procedures and application in practice.
- A well-developed level of understanding of company law, taxation, and other applicable laws.
