Associate Private Banker

The purpose of the Associate Private Banker role is to support Private Bankers in implementing client advice.

The role will work towards qualification and over time will be expected to develop through the Certification Regime and Training & Competence schemes under supervision into a fully competent Private Banker to ensure an internal supply of Private Bankers.

You will be responsible for providing support to one or more Senior Private Banker(s) / Directors in developing, managing and retaining client relationships with high net worth individuals as part of a member of a team of private bankers who are focused on one or more target segments, ensuring on-going support to the Private Banking Assistants as required.

• Understanding of Treating Customers Fairly Principles and application
• Technical knowledge across a range of complex products and client portfolios
• Understanding of global financial markets
• Ability to demonstrate business development skills and the aptitude to prospect for new business
• Knowledge of internal risk management, compliance, AML procedures and constant vigilance in respect of them
